How Many Gallons of Water Are In A Walk-In Tub?

Walk-in Tub

The average walk-in tub typically holds somewhere between 40 and 80 gallons of water. By comparison, a standard bathtub typically only holds 25 to 45 gallons of water. When deciding to purchase a walk-in tub, it’s important to understand your hot water heater’s capacity. If your walk-in tub can hold more water than your water heater, you might run out of hot water before your walk-in tub is filled.

How Long Do Walk-in Tubs Take to Fill?

It all depends on your water pressure and fixtures, but many walk-in tubs can be filled within about 10 minutes. Thanks to FAST FILLTM technology, however, the Jacuzzi® walk-in tubs installed by Bath Expo fill twice as fast as other tubs.

How Quickly Can Walk-in Tubs Drain?

This also depends on your plumbing and the tub, but some discount walk-in tubs can take up to 15 minutes to drain. The Jacuzzi® walk-in tubs installed by Bath Expo drain two times faster than average tubs because of Fast Drain technology, which helps users avoid becoming cold while waiting for their tub to drain.

Tips for Staying Warm During Texas Winters

In comparison to other states, Texas has mild winters, but sometimes the colder weather gets to be too much. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways you can stay nice and cozy this winter. The following are just a few of our favorite ways to keep warm.

Soak in a Bubble Bath

Nothing can be more relaxing on a cold day than coming home to a hot bath. If your tub is uncomfortable and grimy, you can complete a bathroom remodel to have a bathtub replacement installed. In no time, you can start enjoying all of the benefits of soaking in a bubble bath.

Cuddle by the Fireplace

Homeowners with fireplaces should take full advantage of snuggling up in a blanket by the fire. Even if you don’t have a real fireplace and chimney in your home, you can purchase an electric fireplace to keep you nice and warm when the temperate drops outside.

Wear Cozy Clothes

If you feel like hanging out inside and enjoying the rare snow occurrences from the comfort of your home, you should put on some comfortable clothes. Wool socks, a fuzzy robe, and slippers can make cuddling up on the couch much more enjoyable.

Work Out

By staying active, you can kill two birds with one stone! Not only can you keep in great shape, but you can also keep warm. For extra warmth, you can head to a cycling or hot yoga class. Even going for a jog outside can be enough to get your blood pumping and warm you up.

Drink a Warm Beverages

From coffee to hot apple cider, there are plenty of delicious drinks to keep you warm in this winter. Whether you want to curl up on the couch with a movie, or you have to venture out into the cold, you can keep your hands nice and warm while you hold your hot chocolate or other beverage.

If a nice, warm bath sounds good to you, you should consider installing a new tub for optimum relaxation and comfort. At Bath Expo of Texas, we have a variety of bathroom products and services from which you can choose, so contact us to learn more about how we can help you keep warm this winter! Jason Munoz – Entertainment Is His Middle Name!

Born and raised in California, Jason worked for Hollywood briefly as an actor in his youth. He is known for his Chiquita Banana commercial and has also starred in other B-rated films and online internet series. He’s been a game show host for Disneyland and has his own IMDb page. “My parents pulled me away from the Hollywood scene at the age of 5, I do miss it but as an adult, I understand why they did it.  My life is still amazing,” he says, “I still do what I love, even if it is more of a hobby.” Jason loves singing and entertaining! He’s sung with the Turtle Creek Chorale at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas and for many weddings.

In 2016, Jason joined our team working as a Brand Ambassador for Window Expo & Bath Expo. After a month of working as a Brand Ambassador, Jason was promoted to a Sales Representative position and currently works following-up with prospects to schedule appointments. Jason still assists as a Brand Ambassador and trains new hires at shows and events. “I love working with such an amazing team,” he mentions. Jason loves volunteering for our non-profit organization, Matthew 6 Ministries, and hopes in the future to help organizations like the Red Cross and FEMA with charity work. “I have a lot of time still, to give back, so I am making it my priority to help as many people as I can. I know I am doing it here at Window Expo & Bath Expo and I know I can do it for other non-profits one day.”

We love having Jason as part of our team, and are excited to see what the future holds for him as part of our family!

Greg Taylor – Claims He Can Dance And Sing, Just Like Michael Jackson

As the Inventory Coordinator for Window Expo and Bath Expo, Greg deals with almost everyone in the company. When asked what excites him about coming to work every day, Greg replied, “The great staff! I love working with my team.” Greg told us his favorite memory at work was watching some of the ladies in the office freak out over some water bugs (aka roaches!) that popped out of nowhere in the warehouse.

Greg exclaims, “To this day, I rarely see any of those ladies stop by the warehouse to visit!”
